Hi there, this is the Knex Customer Service, but please note the item is being sold by a third party reseller. This Kit uses the micro sized Knex pieces, which are used in 90% of Knex Kits. The "core" sized pieces are larger. To answer your question, this kit is compatible with most of the Thrill Rides Knex Kits. Some of the kits may have "core" sized Knex pieces (slightly larger) but the majority of the set is built using Knex Micro sized pieces and roller coaster track.
