OSK Soft Functional Resting Hand Splint. I would give six stars if I could. This splint has been very useful for my left hand. I am a stroke survivor and I needed something to prevent my left hand from contracting.it was very painful at night and I couldn't sleep with the pain. This splint has been a lifesaver for my left hand. No more pain at night. Thank you for a very good product!

I have progressive multiple sclerosis and amongst the many symptoms of this debilitating disease I have spasticity of the fingers in both hands. I have had it longer in the left one but it has become as bad or worse in the right, which is my dominant hand. I have used a nighttime splint for the left hand over 10 years, which was acquired via Medicare insurance. I wanted to get one for the right but the process of being fitted for, awaiting insurance approval, and receiving the splint can take months. So, I decided to take a faster route and looked online where I found this one at a reasonable price that I can afford. This one is similar in design to the one acquired through an orthotic appliances shop and which cost 10x more. I have only worn this one twice as it arrived two days ago. But, so far it is easy to put on and is comfortable throughout the night. The only negative that I see is the strap that goes over the hand is superfluous. It is really not necessary for holding the splint in place and is one strap too many.

I had a stroke it works great to keep my hand open. It’s a perfect size it’s soft and comfortableYou’ll need someone to help you put on. It’s hard for me to do it myself because my hand is so tight.

Worked perfectly but after 3 months, the velcro doesn't stick anymore.

This brace was rumpled and smelled bad like sweat. I suspect that it was used & returned. The rumpling in the padding makes it too uncomfortable to wear because it creates increased pressure & pain. I do not recommend this product.
