A fabulous blend of white tea and fruit
When reading the description on this product page, do not allow yourself to put emphasis on the "tangy citrus" and "spicy ginger" elements. Try to remember that these two facets are there to "balance out" the flavor of the pear fruit and the white tea. To me, for me, it is a superb balancing act, but one that does not build up a tang, nor spiciness. The pear flavor is surprising fresh and there is a serious "juiciness" going on that is intriguing. We do like tea at our house, and I have been know to buy a very pricey pound of tea every once in a while. And if given a choice, we choose loose tea over bagged tea. While this does have a unique delivery/presentation system that guarantees freshness and convenience, the price is still way up there, isn't it? So, would I buy this product at this price? Maybe--it is that great. But maybe I would choose to gift it instead. You know, that type of gift that is fabulous, but not something you'd treat yourself with. But ideal for gifting to someone who means a lot to you.Other observations: This tea is not made for a second dip in hot water--will not make a second cup. Also, there is a lot of sediment at the bottom of the glass. You do need a tea strainer for this, and I think one of those spoon-shaped strainers is too small for this portion. Here is something you should consider: Each portion is made for 12 ounces of water. Most tea bags and loose leaf directions are made for 8 ounces of water. Also: Expiration date on my well-packaged, pretty box is August 2023.

Great quality tea; loose leaf pouches seem a little wasteful, although they are convenient
I'm a huge tea fan, and I have to say - this brand produces great quality tea! I have not had tea in the way they presented theirs (individually packaged loose leaf) but it was convenient, especially for keeping at my office. The tea is in larger pieces and looks fresher and more high quality. It steeped in my cup easily and tasted delicious. Ginger was notable, but so was the pear.I do think that while there are benefits to convenience for the loose leaf pouches, I would prefer just a tin with loose leaf I could scoop out myself. Seems wasteful to individually package them when you still have to go through the extra step of finding something to steep the tea in your cup with.Overall, though, I'd definitely recommend this brand.

Love This Subtle Fruity Pear Taste With Only A HINT Of Ginger- Loose Leaf Individual Packages
I wasn’t sure what to expect with this Tea Forte White Ginger Pear Tea, but I’m very pleasantly surprised. I’m honestly more of a coffee drinker, but I’m trying to change my ways. I’m actually not a huge ginger fan, but I I like pears and had high hopes that the ginger flavor would be mild- I was right. If you are hoping for a strong ginger flavorful, then keep looking.I received a box of 48 individually packaged pouches of loose leaf tea. I actually quite like the packaging. If you go through tea a lot, this may not be the greatest value for you and is a bit wasteful, but this is great for keepomg each serving fresher and is very convenient for taking to go. My box arrived intact with a small perforated area for easy access to the pouches. I think the individual pouches look lovely.Remember, that this is loose leaf and not in tea bags. I’m okay with this. It actually has been perfect to dump the contents of one pouch into my reusable Keurig cups and I make a single cup that way. Is it the best way? Probably not. I’m sure it may be more flavorful if I truly steeped it properly, but I’m still very happy with the results. When I drink tea, I always like to add honey. This tastes great that way, but I have actually been drinking it plain and I pretty much never like tea that way, so this is definitely a winner for me. The aroma of the loose tea is absolutely lovely.Overall, whether you like this will obviously depend on your personal taste. I would definitely recommend this tea if:-You like a subtle fruity pear-like taste with a HINT of ginger (ginger is almost nonexistent to me which I’m happy with)-Are okay with loose leaf individual packages for convenience and freshnessI hope my review was helpful in some way, and if so, I would love to know- thanks!!

Almost impossible to use with tea ball
I’ll start by saying this is one of the best teas I’ve ever had. It’s expensive but so delicious. My issue is with the portioning/ packaging.First, I thought I purchased tea bags. My fault.I got my tea ball/ diffuser and it only fit about 3/4 the package. It also spilled everywhere. Luckily I had put a bowl underneath when I was filling. (For the price, you don’t want to lose a crumb.) I wound up having to use a second tea diffuser which I thankfully had on hand. The tea was great but really inconvenient to use.

Quality tea in convenient pre-portioned packets
These pre-portioned packets of white ginger pear tea blend are super convenient and easy to use. These are pre-measured, loose tea leave blend that you simply pour into your own strainer or infuser to brew a single 12 oz. cup of tea. These allow you to get the right amount of tea leave blend to make a perfect cup of tea.The white ginger pear tea blend itself is pleasant and flavorful. It is of good quality and fresh. There is a mild hint of ginger and pear to it, which doesn't overpower the base tea. It has a mild sweetness to it as well. It is a fine tea and I enjoy it a lot. These packets come packaged inside a retail box which, when placed vertically, has an opening in the front bottom for easy dispensing. The package I received has a Best By date of over 2 years from now. It is super convenient to bring some packets with you and brew a cup in your office or when traveling. The price is reasonably for the quality and convenience. I would recommend giving it a try. Good tea.
