Life saver!
My husband had one and I knew they were very helpful for supporting lower or mid lumbar regions of spine. I have spinal stenosis and this is helpful. The best thing is doing core strengthening exercises like they show you in PT. Must also use good posture and sit upright in a chair and not slump down. My back doesn’t get as tired when I am cleaning or doing a lot of kitchen prep. Easy to release when using restroom, using the pull cords and shifting the belt up a bit higher. Then pull it down and tighten the belt using the cords. I wash mine in the tub allowing tit to soak and hang to dry — it’s dries quickly.

Great Product
I like the way you can focus and set the amount of pressure on the lower back

not durable. You get what you pay for; original piece of equipment casting 70.00 is now 500.00.
I use this product to provide stability for back stiffness due to exercise or prolonged sitting. I used the product to replace a higher end aspen back brace. I had to eventually replace the original brace.

Excellent light weight back brace
And don't let the word "light weight" fool you, this brace provides really great support for the power back. The size runs a bit large, but it works great even at that. No complaints. Just one little remark: The pull tab on the ends of the rigging seem to be a bit light weight. But they seem to be holding up nicely. I've tried dozens of braces from Amazon (nice that you can return them as most are just not useful). This particular model is the best. I have a 25 year old bad back and have had surgery several times, so I have loads of experience with back braces. I usually save the worn out ones for spare parts which has come in handy from time to time. The most replaceable items overall are the string pulls, so I always make sure I save the best of those for future reuse.

Much more support than others without the pulley system
I have a shelf full of back braces but they loosen up and don't provide enough support with just the velcro in the front. With those I always had to adjust them and never could get the full support I needed. This brace has the front velcro as well as two smaller velcro pieces on a pulley system that really tightens and supports for many hours at a time until I feel I need to adjust it again. This is much like the medical brace I got after my lumbar fusion. Now with osteoarthritis I get pinched nerves and this brace helps support my back as I work on recovery. Icing my back with the brace on also helps me recover.

I had a brace from Aspen that I received while doing physical therapy. I worn it out actually the velcro wore out. This one is lighter weight but seems to be doing the job well. I say yes to buying it. You have a choice of white or black a definite plus for me.

Great brace for low back problem
Purchased this in white for summer after local med supply had it only in black last winter, and copied the size they recommended and provided. Love these braces! They provide lots of relief when I have to be on my feet for a long period of time! Having one in each color makes for more flexibility in being able to use them.

Wish I'd purchased a few years ago instead of sorting through cheaper braces. Well worth the extra money.
Yep. Worth the few extra dollars. This is a very well made brace. Stiff and rigid with plastic at the right places. Not in an uncomfortable way. I wear this when doing chores (vacuuming, mowing, bathing the dog, etc. I bet I could wear it for the full day if I needed to. Maybe that isn't recommended though. I did not read the instructions. Very comfortable. Fastening system is basically two stages: hook it when positioned where you want it (hook and loop / velcro). Then, once in place, you have two tabs to pull -- one on either side. You can get this brace remarkably tight as a result. Boa constrictor tight if you'd like. I'd been through four braces looking for the right one. I did not want to pay 200 dollars for one, but I knew the ones in the 20-30 dollar range were not going to do it. This one, which I got for around 65-75 dollars is perfect for me. I'm happy with the value for dollar here.
