Initial few days the reading was almost fine. Later it started giving random values when checking 2-3 times on forehead for the baby.Hospital told to use underarm thermometer or ear thermometer as none of forehead ones are reliable, especially for babies.Waste of money. I compared (multiple times) the temp between this and mercury thermometer and underarm digital, result - forehead temp was always high which was wrong too and hospital reading matched with underarm temp.

Absolutely useless on little kids since it requires them to sit still and not to move, which is not possible. Manual says temperature needs to be measured precisely on a spot between eyebrows, otherwise reading will be inaccurate. Even in that case it doesn't match true body temperature that was measured in armpit. Suitable for surface temperature measurement though.
