Q: What is the suction power on this device?

The MINI Diamond Microdermabrasion System by Microderm GLO® has two suction level strengths below: Low setting (red light): 16 hg/in High setting (blue light): 20 hg/in These are safe and efficient suction levels, suitable for 98% of skin types. For those with tougher skin that would like more abrasive action, you may press firmly against the skin while performing treatments. Q: Do you need to buy anything else to do this? Such as exfoliating crystals or anything?

The Microderm GLO MINI includes everything needed for an amazing microdermabrasion experience. Exfoliating crystals are not needed. The system comes with (1) Fine/Precision and (1) Premium Diamond Tip, as well as (1) small and (1) large suction tip for use in between treatments and removing blackheads. With regular use of 1-2 times per week, the Diamond Tips should be replaced every 3-4 months. The unit also comes with (30) replacement filter discs, which should be replaced after each treatment. It’s not designed to remove peach fuzz, some may come out in the process of using it, but not a considerable amount. As for black heads- it uses suction in combination with specific tips that come with it. There are the diamond tips for abrasion and then a clear plastic-type tip to use for blackheads
