Model CDU WAYNE SUMP PUMP SWITCH
The switch for CDU Wayne pumps was a perfect fit and worked great. The seal was a perfect fit also. After reading a lot of the reviews was kind of leary about ordering the kit. Was a great fit. Unplugged the pump and removed from the pit, removed the 4 screws holding the cap removed the wires and make note of where the ground wire is. In the case there is a ground symbol but you really have to look for it. Removed the 2 screws holding the switch and replaced the switch. After the job was done could have replaced it without removing the pump just remember to UNLUG the pump.

This switch is SOURCED from Wayne; genuine Wayne switch.
This item WORKS.Be careful there are items claiming to be Wayne switch, but is not actually sourced from Wayne. I reached out to Wayne customer service with exactly this listing in Amazon, and Wayne confirmed yes what AMAZON sells is indeed from Wayne. Pay attention to "sold by" in the listing.As a suggestion, after you opened the switch top, before you pull off any connectors, take a photo or video.Also, it is easier after removing each pin, reconnect that same pin onto the new switch. This saves a lot of headache later "where does this go again".

Works great
Works as advertised. The o-ring included was not for my pump so I just re-used the existing 0-ring. Keep track of wires by taking a picture before disconnecting then remove the old one and reconnect. Works great!

Works fine, gasket doesn’t fit
The kit was an exact replacement control/solenoid unit. However, the gasket to seal the top is nowhere near the right size. I could stretch it to fit, but it won’t stay in place. You can see in the photo that it’s too small. I’m just hoping my old gasket is ok. I had water in the cap so I’m concerned about getting this sealed up. Wayne doesn’t give a part number for the gasket that I’ve found so you either buy this kit for ~$30 or you buy the kit that’s got the whole lid and cord with it for almost $70. If you need the gasket I recommend you find a different product.

Mounted it on the pump. It fit well pleased.

I fixed my submersible pump!
This switch came with instructions and was fairly easy to install. It extended the life of my Wayne submersible pump. My old pump switch broke in the "on" position (fortunately!), so I figured that it was the switch that failed and the pump was still good. I'm glad I was able to fix this pump because it is part of an integrated battery backup pump unit. Having to change it all out would have been $300+ and a much bigger hassle. All good here.

Worked for my sump pump
The switch was fine and fit well on my sump pump. The o-ring did not fit and I had to re-use my old o-ring.
