On occasion I find something I have purchased to be not quite good enough, or even not satisfactory at all, but this is NOT it!! I have several types of sea salt on hand all of which I use. Generally, I use the more colorful salts for presentation purposes as well as the seasoning. So, to say that this salt is dramatic, is an understatement! The salt is darker pink than most others I have used and I consider that to be a plus."The high mineral Himalayan salt crystals range in color from sheer white to varying shades of pink to deep reds which indicates a beneficial amount of 84 trace elements & iron." This is a direct quote from the expanded product description. I have no way to verify that statement, but the part about the colors is definitely a perfect description. I would hope that the rest of it about the minerals is also true. I find the salt to be very nicely flavored. Yes, this salt is definitely different than "regular" table salt or store bought "kosher" or "sea" salt." It is wonderfully subtle and provides a very distinct sensation in the mouth when used "whole grain." I love the flavor it imparts and the comments I hear about the beautiful color when it is on the table in a grinder. I think salts, particularly sea salts, have recently come into style. The health benefits of the minerals and the natural state of this salt make it a particularly interesting variation.I have seen and heard some comments about this salt (and others like it..) being too expensive. Well, if you believe in organic foods, why not organic salt..??? In reality, this salt is quite reasonable in price (at least right now..). I also seem to use less of it....not certain why that is....maybe because of the flavor profile..?? But in any event, I don't find it to be excessively expensive. I don't mind paying a little more for a nicer product.So, get some to try out in your grinder on the table, as well as a finishing salt....Use it two ways!!Five stars for a very nice product, well packaged, and true to the description. I am very, very pleased.

I have ordered this Himalayan salt for the second time. It is very tasty and works well in my salt mill. The last time I ordered it; it lasted about 2 years, and it stayed fresh in the re-closeable pouch. For a family of 2 it's a lot of salt, but based upon the price it was well worth the purchase even if some of it became stale - but it didn't.

I Love this particular item of The Pink Himalayan Sea Salt, Although I am uncertain & unclear as to what price I am paying for things in my Subscribe & Save orders, as there seems to be a GREAT DIFFICULTY To View ANYTHING U /I have set up in my Subscribe & Save Orders, -as Amazon’s Subscribe & Save Program Which is what I have set up on this product, but I am VERY Annoyed that once U set up anything in the Subscribe & Save Ordering Program Settings, it then becomes nearly next to impossible to Clearly be able to check what price U are going to be charged for ANY ITEMS Set up in Ur Subscribe & Save Prices Of Anything Set up in that order Program, Which can cause people like myself, Who is on a fixed income, to be able to clearly find what prices they are charging U for Ur Current Subscribe & Save order items, -as it is nearly almost imposdible to find the prices w/o having to call Customer Service to tell U what the prices are currently being charged & I have experienced MANY NUMEROUS Problems w/ this system, as it makes checking all the prices U are paying in that Subscribe & Save Program, does not have ANY EASY PRICE CHECKING ABILITY ONCE U SUBSCRIBE & SSVE AFTER U HAVE BEEN ORDERING IT FOR ANY TIME, the Prices Can Easily be changes w/o Ur Knowledge & then when bilked to Ur payment, it can be way more than U may have been expecting & Hit Ur budget VERY BADLY & Be very detrimental to Ur Budget for that month when U haven’t gone in to make certain -ABSOLUTELY EACH MONTH what is being shipped (if U have many items set up, as I Do & they make it nearly pretty much impossible to find the price U are being chatged for every single item), So U AVE TO CALL & Get the Proce’s being charged by having Customer Service Call U back -as their is no easy price checking ability after U set up a bunch of items in A Subscribe & Save item U set up for ordering. So that’s not dependabt in this this pink Sea Salt, But I still admit, I have No idea of what the exact price I was & have been charged for it lately as it’s SO Impossibly Difficult to check the prices of each & every item in a Subscribe & Save type of order system. They clearly are not making it pissible to be able to easily & clearly be able to check what each items is being charged once U start anything in a Subscribe & Save ordering program. And it is VERY ANNOYING & Can Ddcimate Ur Entire once a month Money Income for those of us on a Fixed Monthly Income That is Very Important to know before they start to shop & get things set up for Ur Orders well in Advance before it ships & then get charged w/o knowing what prive is the price U are then currently being charged, but making it nearly almost imposdible to check what price each item is, So U HAVE TO CALL /Have Customer Service Call U before anything ships IF U ATE NOT ABLE TO EASILY FIND WHAT PRICE THEY ARE GOONG TO CHARGE U. WOW! This salt brings an enhanced flavor level to foods and Bloody Mary’s! Never using regular salt again!

Great product. ALSO, AMAZON SHOULD INCLUDE THE COST OF TRUMP'S TARIFFS ON ALL PRODUCTS.
