I made the mistake of buying a used one off Amazon. The previous owner decided it would be a good idea to return it back to Amazon without deregistering all of their information from the website! Well, in any case the system worked. I contacted the previous owner and asked them to deactivate their tag so that I could add my info to it. They could have just ignored me, forcing me to return it again. Spend the extra couple bucks and buy it new.A couple key points (no pun intended)... Website it easy to navigate. I like that this is waterproof. The tag is slim and doesn't add much interference in my pocket with my key chain. I suppose you could get any old tag and write your phone number on it and it would probably work just as well but the GPS function is cool in case someone takes your keys and logs in out of curiosity with no intention of returning. I have some expensive and cool gadgets on mine such as a mini spyderco knife and high quality AAA Fenix flashlight.

This key tag has the ability to give anybody who scans the QR code on it, or visits the website on it, to see any information you'd like. Keep it on your keys, and if you misplace them, they might actually make it back to you, since the person who finds them will know who to contact to return them! It's small, thin, and light, and comes on a thick steel key ring. It's made of a very hard material, so I have no worries that it might break in my pocket or anything.Dynotag offers a free account to manage all your tags, and it also takes a snapshot of the user's location when the QR code is scanned (just in case whoever finds it decides not to contact you) so you possibly can find it that way as well. Overall, this is a safety/prevention product, and I literally feel less stress/worry about all of my equipment that I have to bring with me during the week when I travel. I would recommend this product to anybody and everybody.

The keyring has a jump ring that attaches the tag to it. Both of my sets of keys lost the dynotag within days because of a gap in the jump ring. However, both times I found the tag and attached it directly to the key ring. Otherwise I would have rating this product a 5 star. I also was a little confused about how to activate the tag. It has two codes--one of each side of the tag that must be entered into the website. I only saw one at first. But after realizing where the other code was, it was a snap. I now have peace of mind about the possibility of losing my keys.

A very good insurance policy against lost keys. It was very easy to setup and update the contact information attached to the tag. Since the ring is attached to my home and car keys the contact information attached to the tag is my mobile number which is not listed. Hopefully, I will not loose my keys but if they are lost whoever finds the keys will be able to get my contact info by following the link on the tag or scanning the QR code.

Car keys are not cheap. Especially if they go missing all the time. This key tag has paid for itself many times. It arrived on time, the Dynotag company had been very helpful and responds quickly. I'm very happy with it and the company's service.

I think this tag will be of help in getting my keys back should I lose them. It's a nice looking tag that I don't mind having attached to my key ring.Setting it up took a little time but is fairly straightforward. I'm happy with this purchase.
