All-Clad Essentials Hard Anodized Nonstick Square Dutch Oven with Trivet 5 Quart Oven Safe 350F Pots and Pans, Cookware Black

I love it! The appearance is a plus! Great to put on silicone trivet on table at dinner time! Quality is excellent! The problem is some people have with these anodized- non stick pots is not knowing which utensils to use & also using with very high heat when it’s not necessary. If you follow the instructions that come with the pots, it tells you to start on low heat to slowly get the pan hot before you turn it up to a medium heat. Ppl immediately put the pot on the stove and then put the heat on high. Yes, that could cause warping and pitting of the interior. They also will take the hot pan from the stove and put it in the sink and run ice cold water in it to cool it off. That it will always warped the pan. I grew up in a house that my mother used aluminum professional pans all the time. Aluminum distributes the heat fast and evenly you don’t need a “high” heat. You can braise, seer and sauté on medium in these pans. If you want to go with a really high heat to do stirfry, buy yourself a carbon steel wok. As far as utensils go, the newer silicone utensils are made much better than the older 1990s variety. Most of my utensils are wood. I don’t use metal in any of my anodized pots. And I definitely don’t put them in the dishwasher I’ll let them cool off while I put everything away then I put it in the sink and run water. The heat in the dishwasher alone will destroy the interior just as cold water hitting the pot when it’s just come out of the oven. I expect to be using this pot a long time.

So far, I like everything about this little roaster. Perfect size for meals for two and easy clean up. A little pricey but standard for this brand.

Good nonstick properties, however you MUST use silicone or wood utensils or it WILL SCRATCH…I have been using the nylon utensils before I purchased these pots never paid too much attention until I replaced my old pans. All n all I am happy with my purchase

I had issues covering the pot properly as the lid was bent. I had to try to straighten and was surprised at how soft the metal seemed. Did not get a perfect seal in the end. It was disappointing.

this had become my 'go to' pan. I have used it for many dishes. I absolutely love this pan. cleans easily too

I have decided to stay away from All Clad "Essentials." This pan is truly nonstick and easy to clean. But, it is not a very heavy pan, and the lid doesn't stay on tight enough to keep the liquid in the pan from evaporating when baking in the oven. The lighter weight of the "Essentials" pots makes them a cheaper purchase, but not the best one in the long run. No more of them for me.

Excellent cookware. Well worth the cost.

Great pan, easy to clean and versatile

We've been collecting various pots and pans, and while I can't speak to long term use, so far this has been a great all around solution.
