I hooked them up to 10 gage wire, it seems they will work up to 6 gage.

They are battery plugs,for use on battery packs!

Don't know but they worked great replacing my old TAMIYA 7,2 volt battery connectors

I assume you mean the external plastic housing that holds the connector pins. The length is 26.5 mm, the width is 13.44 mm and the height of the body is 7.24 mm but there are some small protrusions on each side that make the total height 9.58 mm. I suggest that you could file, sand or cut them off if you need it to be smooth and the smallest dimension.
