Q: Are these the only filters i need to change?

No. I believe there’s 4 filters total. Two are fairly frequently and the other two are yearly I believe

Q: what is in the remineralizer? I cannot find on any website describing the contents of it.

Makes the water taste like Arowhead bottled water. I don't like it.

Q: Does the remineralizer in this product include the microbial filter, as shown on the cover image?

Yes it does but you will have to buy the two Claryum Filters

Q: Is that 24 hour purge correct? That is not a good idea if you're on a well system. I'm glad I saw this before purchasing the system.

Instructions with the filters say let the tank fill after replacing the filters, drain the tank and refill. Should be good to go then.
