Enjoy these beans, but review includes a qualification
Great coffee, but... when I purchase from Counter Culture direct I get freshly ground beans. Ordering through other sources can mean a bit longer between roast and delivery. I'm becoming more picky. So I'll check before an order to find the info from the source. If the source is an Amazon warehouse, I'm not sure that is even possible to find out. I think a purchase depends on your expectations. With all my aging coffee concerns, this is light roast. And light roast will age slower than darker. And much much longer than decaf roast will hold up. FYI.

Always Check Beans Before Using in an Espresso Machine
Even though we enjoy the flavor and overall quality of this brand, we did encounter one serious issue. In one of the bags, there was a small stone mixed in with the beans. We didn’t notice it when pouring the beans into our espresso machine, and when we started brewing, the machine jammed immediately. During the repair, the technician confirmed that the stone was the cause of the damage. The repair cost us 600 dollars. Amazon refunded the purchase, which I appreciate, and the company itself handled the case professionally. Because of that, and because the coffee truly tastes excellent, I’m still giving 4 stars. But this experience made me more cautious, and I strongly recommend that other customers quickly inspect the beans before adding them to their grinder or espresso machine. Despite that incident, the coffee remains one of the best-tasting and most aromatic options we’ve tried, and we will continue buying it with extra care.

Fresh, good body, and flavor
Fresh and makes for good espresso which is what I use it for primarily. Good value for getting 2 bags in one package

Favorite coffee
We tried other flavors like big trouble and fast forward. They are good, but this one hits the spot with good aroma, mouth feel and the slight blueberry finish. We don’t drink it black, but it tastes good in a latte or cappuccino

Great taste
This is my new favorite coffee. Its a blonde/medium roast and is nutty without bitterness.

Buy only in store
This is a very nice coffee, tastes good and I love it when buying from the local Whole Foods, but the ones off Amazon keep coming expired long time ago and I always have to deal with that when it'd be the most important, because I ran out of coffee. I can't understand why they have no system in place to track the expiration dates on food items...
