Q: Is the cap stainless steel? What is the capacity?

The cap is plastic with a silver cap on top of that. I don't think it is stainless steel. It holds 170 ml which is a little less than a cup.

Q: is the lid dishwasher safe?

It's best to handwash. I always have soy sauce in mine, but will give a quick cleaning to the lid at every refill

Q: does the soy sauce come out fast or slow?

It comes out in a small steady stream. It doesn't drip down the edge of the bottle. I like this soy sauce bottle.

Q: How many ounces does it hold?

The 5" tall bottle filled to the top holds almost 6oz
