Q: How long does this cleaner take for car tape deck?

Mine never stopped so I just took it out after thirty minutes. I would say 20-30 minutes since that’s about how long a cassette side runs for.

Q: What really is the cleaning liquid like what is it?

The cleaning solution is mostly alcohol. In this case, ISOPROPYL. The cleaning tape gets ti areas that we would find a bit difficult to reach. Let your unit dry out for few minutes before using, just to be on the safe side. Cassette tapes will last for many years. If you have the equipment, transfer your tapes to either CD's or the newer computer system if you have one. There is enough cleaning solution in this kit that will last you for many years. I would suggest cleaning your heads, depending on use, every other week. I often just clean the heads with the solution and a "Q" tip. Depending on age of tape, how much ware is the factor to consider.

Q: Does it clean auto reverse tape decks ?

Once you have cleaned your audio heads as instructed, there is no need to reverse your cleaner. The job of clean up has been accomplished. HAPPY NEW YEAR.
