if you want to make colored bath bombs use hi end cake decorating/food coloring past...these are highest quality pigments that are FDA edible, and therefore non-toxic...all PAINT pigments contain heavy metals that are dangerous for your health

The product breaks it down by pounds of material; you'd want to do the math ( weight of shirts) understanding you are not literally dying each shirt ( using less as it's the dye with liquid applied in bands).

Q: About how many shirts can be produced from one container? I am buying for 150 kids. Even an estimate would be helpful!

It depends on how many colors you are using and the size of shirts. If you are getting the 8 pack above you should certainly be able to do 150 shirts.
