Q: Will this mount allow me to frequently attach and remove the speaker, or is the speaker meant to be installed relatively permanently?

It's more for a long term placement of the speaker. If you need to move the speaker around, then don't mount, just plug in/out wherever you need it! Enjoy!

Q: How do these get power if they are wall mounted? Do they not need to be plugged in or do we need to run the wires through the wall to hide.

Still need to be plugged in somewhere. I have an outlet mounted close so I just plug it in there. Fishing it through the wall would be your best bet to hide it.

Q: How quickly can this be used to mount a One outdoors for say, a garden party?

If being mounted on wood, quickly. If on cement block wall, a little longer. How hard the surface is determines the drill time.
