Q: Do you keep impressions on file for reorders?

We do hold onto the teeth impressions for 4 months for reorders of custom dental night guards.

Q: I race my bicycle and clench my teeth when exerting.i need to still be able to speak clearly with it on. is the thin soft guard the correct choice?

When I have my guard in I can still speak pretty clearly. I may have a slight lisp but people can definitely understand what I’m saying. I hope this helps! (I have the 2mm slim fit guard but they also offer a 1mm guard if you are concerned about the slight lisp with the 2mm)

Q: Can i get a lower one made first and an upper at a later time if i feel i need it? or do they both have to be made at the same time?

You can certainly have the lower one made first. Once you have the lower, you will not need the upper. I use it only on my lower

Q: I have a retainer glued on mybottom teeth. It's permanent and has been there for 20+ yrs. Can I still have an impression made for a lower bite guard?

The material that is mixed up and placed in the mold will form around anything including imperfections or permanent “retainers” on your teeth. As long as you never remove the retainer the mold will match your teeth impression. You might get a little of the mold material stuck around the glued retainer but as long as you don’t damage the impression made they should be able to make a proper mouth guard for you.
