Q: Every time i go to change my filters on my h2o manor system they're got a slime coating in the liners...why & is this normal?

Yes, my plumber tells me this is normal and shows your filter has been working and it is time to change the filters.

Q: how often does the filter need changing

every six months and the pair are about 156.00. When it gets near time to change home water pressure goes way down. Our plumber chose this system and I would not choose it again. Do some research and put something in of higher quality. You probably will have to spend more but I think you will get better results Hope this helps

Q: What is the difference between the manor and the home?

Thanks for your question! The Manor system is larger than the Home system. The Home system is designed for homes with less space and are rated for homes that are less than 1,500 sq. feet. The cartridges weigh about 3 pounds and are rated for 20,000 gallons of water usage. The Manor system's cartridges are about 9 pounds and are rated for 50,000 gallons of water usage. If space is not a concern I would recommend going with the Manor system because the cartridges last longer.

Q: I have a system already with housings can i just get the catridge?

Thanks for reaching out. Our cartridges have been specifically designed and tested with our housings. Using them in another system will void any warranty and we cannot guarantee the expected performance.
