I have had this scale approaching 8 years, and it has seen a ton of use. I've used it personally for anything I don't need a more accurate scale for. But this little pocket scale is great. It's super durable. I have let friends borrow it for periods of time, its been in my backpack, left in extreme temperatures in my cars, it has seen alot of abuse. But even after nearly 8 years I haven't had to calibrate it. Every time I throw a calibration weight on it, it shows the weight perfectly. This is the only initial pocket scale I have ever seen that doesn't require regular calibration, and believe me, I check it often and it always reflects what the weights are perfectly.Since owning this scale, I ave had other brands for 0.01 graduation, and honestly I wish I had gotten a My Weigh, since this model has treated me so well. I plan to buy another one of their pocket scales that is a little more accurate at smaller weights soon.

Bought this last year to measure sausage spices. Stored in original box. Used it 15-20 minutes. After 1 use it turns on, but will not measure or calibrate. Not a lot of money, but should work for more than 20 minutes!
