I have and use a variety of different fuzz pedals. That being said, this one is so versatile, it could be the only one on your board (exceptions for octave fuzzes). Way Huge makes excellent pedals that sound very unique and are built quite sturdy.

I also own a big muff wicker (like it a lot), and an earthquaker hoof reaper (don't like). I like the fuzz tone a lot. I think it's better than the big muff. The big muff gets kind of muddy, and this one seems to make the notes tighter / not muddy. The finish is great; it's like a green machined aluminum, very catchy. I was not disappointed like I have been with some EHX products that just slap a sticker on the front. It has 3 controls for shaping the tone: scoop, crunch, and filter. They are effective to change the response so you can use them to make different fuzz tones. I like to stage distortion pedals (use a distortion pedal in front of the fuzz pedal) and that works well with this pedal.The pedal has a hot output; I have the volume turned almost all the way off. I wish it had a little better range. Also I don't like the blue LED, but overall it's a favorite. I highly recommend it.

The media could not be loaded. This is a really fun fuzz pedal. It can almost reach HM-2 levels of Swedish metal chainsaw tone. It’s a lot of fun and gives you a huge sound when you pair it up with a distortion pedal. I’ve enjoyed the pedal quite thoroughly in a short amount of time.

I own about 20 pedals and this is my current favorite. It gives give my fender amp the fat crunchy sound of a marshal with lots of sustain. I love the versatility of options/knobs

This fuzz pedal hits hard. The mid scoop is pretty cool too and it’s cool for adding dynamics to a song. One song I play with this is Billie Eilish — Happier Than Ever. When it goes from the clean to the scooped fuzz, this pedal does really good with that sound. Also, they give you stickers and a little box for your *things* and a box with sick artwork. The only things I’ve got on my pedalboard are a tuner, overdrive, this, and a reverb. I get the most interesting sounds out of this for sure.

The foot switch went out on me the first day I had this and it's the second variation of the pickle I've had do the same thing. Sounds cool. I like the tone kinda better than the electro harmonics big muff. But the foot switch on my old muff lasted for 15 years, so take that with however many grains of salt you wish.

I love this pedal for my bass. You have to open it up and adjust the internal knobs as well to get the full range. If you search the internet you can find tons of great settings to get that perfect sound. The swollen pickle rocks.
