Q: does this product just mask the smell, or will it get the dogs to take their buisness elsewhere?

It masks it for the first 24 hours, then it actually starts to smell a little worse as the enzymes decompose the urine for approximately a day, then the smell lessens and completely disappears in about 36 hours. In 3-4 days, all odors are completely gone. FYI: At least this is how it has worked multiple (5?) times on my artificial turf. I repeat this every year or so because we get so little rain in Southern California.

I have artificial grass in my dog run. I bought NaturVet and used it not only on the grass but I use it on the concrete as well. NaturVet did not hurt the grass at all. No stains and no damage. Unfortunately, I can't send you a photo of my dog run so you can see how much artificial turf I have. This stuff works real well for me. Hope this answers your question.

Q: I live in an apartment and want to use this on a potty patch on my terrace, I don't have a garden hose. How many parts water should I dilute it with?

I realize that this question is very old, but it's important to note that hoses usually dilute at a ratio of around 1:25 or 1:32. So, that means you'd use 1 Tablespoon cleaner to 1.5 to 2 cups of water. All that being said, the potty patch is horrendous for outdoor control. Get a Spotty Indoor Dog Potty instead.

Q: can you use your own spray bottle? If not, where do you get the one they show?

Use any kind of cheap spray bottle you want.
