Basic Fun Strawberry Shortcake Retro Classic Soft Doll, for 3 Years Old and Up, Styles May Vary, Red, 14 inches

As soon as I saw this, it brought back memories of the Strawberry Shortcake we all knew from the 80's! She's so cute and well-made. I love that she's scented and soft for my daughter to play with. The box it came packaged in also just felt nostalgic to it's original branding. I think she makes a great gift and is one of those dolls that will grow with your child from a toddler to at least 12 years. I haven't tried washing her yet, I'm scared it will wash the scent away.

Super Cute Update to the 80s Original- but not identical to 80s version Pros (IMHO): -well made -face looks like the actual cartoon character ( to me, the face of the orig. always seemed to be more fashioned after the 80s doll than the cartoon) -nice & soft smells of strawberry ( in a good way, not overpowering ) Cons: -smaller doll than the orig. -apron ties are white in the back- not green like the original -the body of the 80s rag doll had the simulation of SSC's ruffled pantaloons under the dress - just plain white ruffled material that was a part of the white body; they hung slightly over the tops of the green and white legs, making it look like the ruffle that would stick beneath the cartoon character's dress. The new one doesn't have this. Overall, super cute. I hope to get the other two & would REALLY love it if they'd do some of the other characters, like Orange Blossom and Blueberry Muffin.

La muñeca es la original de 1980, de trapo, pero la camiseta es de brillos. No tiene la tela mate con puntos negros. Por lo demas, perfecto. La he comprado como regalo para mi madre, que tiene la coleccion de las pequeñas que salieron hace poco en el kiosko y esta super ilusionada con su muñeca. Huele a frambuesa.

Es hermosa tanto el pakaging como la muñeca en sí. Está súper bien hecha y bonita. Con pelito de estambre y olor a fresa tal como la original. No sé van a arrepentir.

Arrivata prima del previsto, in una confezione splendida, in cartoncino morbido e anch'esso profumato , tutto rosso , interamente in inglese dando al tutto una caratterizzazione anglosassone che è già di per sé meravigliosa. La bambolina è morbidissima, pieghevole, in tessuto leggero e al tatto estremamente piacevole. Il profumo è garantito ma non asfissiante, anzi è anch'esso davvero piacevole, e mescolandosi ai colori vivaci della bambolina , fa rivivere in pieno gli anni '80 e i suoi giochi. Le dimensioni sono quelle di un avambraccio maschile in tutta la sua estensione e lunghezza. Che dire? Semplicemente perfetta!
