My husband has been wearing the same medal for 20 years and I was hoping to be able to change that y ordering this one for him. This is a beautiful sterling silver cross that is solid and very attractive to the eye. The necklace came with a very nice drawstring velour bag for gift giving or to actually place it in when not wearing it.Unfortunately, the chain that it does come on is a bit dainty, thin and more for a woman. I don't believe it will hold up under a man's daily activities. He will wear it on certain occasions but it will not be a everyday piece of jewelry. I was hoping to replace the chain and he did bring to my attention that the chain slides through the small whole at the very top of the cross and anything larger would not fit through it.I did receive a discount on this product in exchange for my unbiased and honest review.
