I am an adult miniature/doll house collector. I needed a kitchen and chose Calico Critters and it is perfect. All the detail, great quality, would definitely recommend.

We were looking for some sturdy dollhouse furniture for our 3 year old. After searching across 4-5 stores for some doll furniture, we finally came across the Calico Critters brand. This stuff is awesome! The attention to detail is impressive. There are tiny slices of bread to go in the tiny toaster. Two slices are white, and then two others are tan to show that they are toasted. CUTE! The drawers and cabinet doors all work, and the furniture is made up of some resin-type material. Everything feels pretty sturdy! Many families might resist getting such an intricate gift for a toddler, but it has been a great present for our daughter. I'm monitoring her whenever she plays with the tiny pieces. I love that it's not cheapy looking, and it's not drenched in pink and purple like many "girl" toys. All of the items are designed to look just like the real items!
