Faulty item
The Thermostat is faulty and it shows the room temperature at 128c, therefore keeping the AC running in an attempt to reach the desired room temp.

Didn't work with my AC - Dubai
Make sure your AC is 24V, otherwise you will need to change the entire circuit of your 12V AC system to have it working, and it will work with only one fan speed, I am just saying what the technician advised. Luckily the seller was kind to accept item return, for that I am giving 3 stars.

Don’t buy as you can no longer control fan speed
You can’t control fan speed with this. I bought 5 of them and now got stuck with them with a super noisy AC fan that you can not control

Not able to connect to wifi after a few months
I liked it for a while but then it just stopped connecting to wifi and i coudnt control it

We recently purchased this thermostat and like how convenient it is to use with our Google Home app. I had some difficulty getting it to work initially but it was my own fault for not following the setup instructions more carefully. I failed to correctly select the HVAC system I use and the thermostat gave me an error message that didn't exactly correspond to the problem. Once I got it figured out with the help of Google Home support representative, Kep, it works very well. So, the bottom line is make sure you carefully follow the setup instructions.

I couldn’t be happier with the Google Nest Thermostat. It’s sleek, modern, and super easy to use. The setup was straightforward, and the app integration makes it really convenient to control the temperature from anywhere—whether I’m in bed or away from home. The interface is clean and intuitive, and it looks great on the wall too. If you’re on the fence about upgrading to a smart thermostat, I highly recommend giving this one a try. I’m very happy with the purchase!

Overall works well in Australia but has some minor issues. Has a battery so no need of C wire but it keeps popping a warning message that c wire not setup!! Also Integrates with Alexa only when on. If off Alexa is unable to start the unit.

Misleading, will not work with 2 wires. Do not buy if you only have 2 existing wires. Waste of money.
