Masterfully hand-crafted by certified Artisan of Kumano, Japan, Houkodou has been the maker of these quality brushes since 1901. FIRST CUT means that every strand of hair has a natural tip which makes a big difference when this hair touches ones face versus one that has a trimmed or cut tip.
