This has a great texture for an occlusive and really helps keep my skin moisturized after using actives. It's a very reasonable price, too.

I have combination skin, and the elements of the combination are both aggressive—very dry and flaky, but also very oily (like *very* oily) and prone to fungal acne. For context, the moisturizer that finally got my dryness under control was the SkinFix Barrier+ Triple Lipid-Peptide Cream, and the sunscreen that curbs my oiliness during the day is the Australian Gold Botanical SPF 50 Tinted Face Lotion. This moisturizer by Isntree is unlike anything I've tried. It's perfect. It gives my skin hydration without aggravating my acne (specifically the fungal acne), and it doesn't irritate my skin, even when my skin is compromised. There was one week when I'd overdone it on an exfoliator, and literally every moisturizer I tried burned my skin (LRP Toleriane Ultra (which I love!), Vanicream, Cerave, SkinFix, Aveeno Oat Gel, Rovectin, etc.), and this was the only one that felt comfortable, soothing, and actually hydrating. I LOVE it. If you use a lot like I sometimes do, the finish stays tacky and glossy for a while, though I wouldn't say it's heavy. Just something to be aware of if you hate any tackiness in skincare products. And to be clear, when I apply less product (like in the morning before sunscreen, for instance), I can get a very natural finish from it. So excellent.

Good product. Leaves my skin very moist the next morning after washing off the mask. One less star cause it doesn't really dry to be able to peel off. It would been a nice feature if it could be.
