The Nylpro is slightly smaller than the XL (but larger than the standard Jazz III)...I measure the Jazz III XL's at 29.4 mm (tip-to-tip), 25.1 mm across its widest point, and 1.38 mm thick.The Nylpro measures 27 mm (tip-to-tip), 23.7 mm wide, and about 1.48 mm thick.Hope that helps.

Q: Is there a difference between these and the blue Nylpro 1.14 picks?

Both Nylpro picks are 1.4mm gauge but the green ones are made with a slightly stiffer material.

Yes. The nylpro is slick nylon, similar to a red nylon jazz iii xl in both feel and sound. The nylpro plus is not as slick; the tone is darker. I use both for the tone and feel variation.
