It’s more expensive but worth it, it’ll last you years and it’s solid a rock. Crushes garlic as expected and is easy to clean in comparison to other crushers I’ve had in the past.

Ich benutze diese Knoblauchpresse seit 2020 mehrmals woechentlich und sie ist nach wie vor in top Zustand. Ich habe heute noch eine als backup bestellt da ich Angst habe, dass dieses Modell in der gleichen Qualitaet irgendwann nicht mehr erhaeltlich ist. Ich reinige sie stets per Hand und nicht in der Spuelmaschine, presse nur Knoblauch damit (dazu ist sie ja auch da), und zerkratze die Seite an der der Knoblauch herausgepresst wird nicht mit scharfen Gegenstaenden sonder nehme entweder die Rueckseite eines Messers oder einen Spachtel. Mit guter Pflege ist dies eine zuverlaessige, hervorragend verarbeitete Knoblauchpresse die auch mit stabilem Gewicht sehr gut in der Hand liegt, und sich sehr leicht reinigen laesst. Wir sind vollauf zufrieden.

Pensavo che gli spremiaglio avessero le caratteristiche della mia ex pinza, datata decenni, ormai: e cioè, che fossero non lavabili in lavastoviglie e soprattutto causanti fastidi alle dita e al polso della mano utilizzata per stringere le pinze. Ho voluto provare questo spremiaglio, catturato dal design, e non molto curando le recensioni sul suo (supposto) ottimo funzionamento. Al momento, dopo averlo provato, direi che è uno degli acquisti su Amazon che mi ha dato maggior soddisfazione. Non soltanto è davvero uno strumento molto bello, costruito perfettamente, in acciaio, facilissimamente lavabile (senza permanenza di odori - e non capisco ancora come faccia) con un colpo di spugna e acqua calda (oltre che in lavastoviglie); ma la sua forma, "bombata" nei manici, facilita la spremitura, richiedendo minor forza. Ovviamente, il residuo dell'aglio spremuto va tranquillamente aggiunto al trito di aglio, con un apprezzabile guadagno in termini di spreco. Da acquistare. Arrivato puntualissimo.

i hesitated buying this as there were cheaper options, but decided i didn't want to be disappointed in an inferior model and risk having to buy a new one. I have no regrets now as it is wonderful to use. You can put a few cloves in there, and if you're 'petite' like me, you might need to use 2 hands to squeeze down on it but because of the thick ergonomic handles, doesn't put stress on your palms or wrist. It's heavy duty so just be careful not to drop it on your counter or floor. Also the clever design means you can flip one handle around so it pushes out the remaining garlic trapped in the holes. Rinse out the press right after using so it makes clean up a breeze, it simply rinses out. It says you can use it without peeling the garlic, but it got a little messy and since i don't want to waste any of the garlic, I've always removed the skins first. i also use a small knife to scrape off the minced garlic after pressing, then use it to shift the flattened cloves around, and re-press, so I don't waste anything. I love how it makes light work of mincing all my garlic - and I'm very happy with my purchase.
