Q: 16 string Stiller Lyre. The diagram shows string number 1 is G3 the thickest string, but replacement string 1 is the thinnest which is correct?

Great instruments but the documentation and support are sadly lacking. String 16 is for the G3 and string 1 is for A5.

Q: 1) is there a way to play sharps and flats on this instrument? 2) is there a way to mute strings?

1: That can be raised and lowered by adjusting the tension of the strings. 2: It can be muted without plucking the strings
