Q: Is there something one needs to do to get the bluetooth to work while swimming? It works on land but not while in the water.

It doesn't work while in the water at all. It has that information buried somewhere in a description but doesn't say that on the sales page (unless they updated it). None of the Bluetooth waterproof headsets work in the water and most of them say it plainly but this product does not. I returned mine and got a AGPTEK S12 which has a better battery life.
