What case works with this meter? I bought the C-25 soft case and it is enormous.

The Fluke C90 is a smaller soft case and will hold the179 & test leads.

Does this come with a thermocouple to take tempreture as well as the normal probes?

It includes a pair of normal meter test leads and a 3 foot type K bead wire thermocouple sensor

is there a replacement rubber holster a can get for the 179?

The shell of this meter is not designed to be replaced. This is more of a professional meter compared to the lower Fluke series. You can buy soft carry cases or larger hard latching cases for this unit but it doesn't share the same snap in shells like we use on typical field tech units. The 70 and 80 series have field tech holsters that can take abuse (drops, etc) but there is not one currently in production for the 179.
