As a huge fan of Megan McCafferty I was excited to see she wrote a new book. I was a little skeptical at first. It takes place in the ‘90s in a mall during the summer and for those reasons alone I should love it but I felt maybe my expectations would be too high or it wouldn’t compare to the Jessica Darling books.Luckily I was wrong, even the scavenger hunt/treasure map part which I thought could’ve been a letdown was actually a great story! I enjoyed the characters and the whole story. It was definitely a nice, funny, quick read that I was glued to on vacation.
