Cesar Millan Dog Backpack (Small)

Be aware of size options. The small is very small. There is no medium available anywhere except used- perhaps Cesser Millan is phasing this style out? It is quite unfortunate they don't give samples of breeds. My dog has a long body, deepish chest so it didn't fit at all. Construction quality is good. Pockets on small size are too small for anything. I liked the handle. It is breathable, my McNab overheats easily.

Alot smaller than i thought it would be. Wont fit much, but its the best one for the harness that ive found. You could probably strap things to it, but i havent gotten that far yet.

I leave Cesar Millan on for my dog when I go out, we are big fans ; ) and before I left, I saw the backpack with water bottles! It is very sturdy, the large fits my 80# lab, has ample storage for water bottles, bags, treats, etc. Durable and thick material, and I like the reflective accents

I have a (Labrador) service dog and an American Pit Bull (pet). They should both be size medium according to their weights and measurements on the backpack information, but the measurements, or pack seem a bit off. The Lab stood solid for all adjustments but I could not center the chest plate. He’s 77#. My Pit, whom I got this for Is 66#, again things all seem a bit off in fit, empty it’s leaning a bit to one side, and the rear girth on him is so loose I’m going to have put on part of a horses halter fleece set around the belly strap to make the rear band fit snug and properly. I saw part of a Cesar show recommending the backpack for working your dog next to a baby stroller for a cat, to help the two bond. I just can’t believe I bought a cat a stroller! For comfort I will use rice in plastic bags in the backpack pouches, measured to the proper weight for my dog’s size, instead of hard water bottles, and if it still leans to one side it will carry a few ounces more on one side so the comforts improved. I once used too much weight in a dog backpack, not knowing the consequences could lead to a life long back problem for my 22# IG x Russel’s terrier. Not good, I feel so badly. I just need to distract my Pitty from his desire to eat my kitten. I’ve tried all sorts of things and an old Cesar’s episode says the weight will distract him so he’ll settle into a working mind set and accept my kitten. It’s worth a try. The back pack looks nice and is easy to see due to its color and that of my dog, white and grey spotted. Also being disabled the weight in the pack means less work for me and a dog whose exercised properly.

Great quality and fits my Alaskan Malamute perfectly. I love how the side packs aren’t separate saddle type bags, but rather a seen as part of the pack. This makes it so they don’t flap up and down while she runs (like her last pack did). The pockets are also a perfect size to hold the water bladders we have. I highly recommend this pack!

The size small did not fit the dog the way it should have. Returning it cost me $7.36 which was not posted on the web site which was annoying! The medium was a good fit for my doodle but straight out of the package it was defective. The trim did not cover the edge of the fabric so I expect it will fall apart fairly easily. I am surprised that Cesar would put his name on something not made well. It's too bad as the design is great.

This is our third Caesar Milan dog backpack. It helps my Dobermans just come down a couple of notches. According to trainers, dogs like to have a “job”. It does help my dogs settle and focus. I feel that my dogs have so much energy, that they can carry their own water bottles, bowls, and snacks. They love to see their backpacks come out and willingly stand in front of me for them to be buckled on. I have never had one rub a sore on my dogs, or my dogs seem sore anywhere. It fits well, seems weight is distributed well. The only reason I do not give it 5 stars, is the strap that goes over the pockets. My Dobermans run full speed practically everywhere. We live in the high desert and mountains. The straps have a habit of catching on limbs, and brush and getting ripped off at high speeds. Still you won’t be disappointed in this backpack.
