Barron's SAT Subject Test Chemistry Twelfth Edition

Prepares you intensely. Unlike other review books, this one's information and test are harder than the actual SAT Subject test, so when you sit down to take the actual test, it is a lot easier to do, resulting you in a higher score.

Helped me get an 800. Just do the practice tests, and review your weaker points. It covers pretty much everything on the actual test. Personally, I think this books tests are harder than the actual one.

Tests some things you don't need to know to do well on the Chem SAT. That said, by using this book, I did get an 800.

Great book. Good practice. If you study hard and take as many practice tests as you can, this purchase should easily pay off.

So many errors! There was this limiting reactant problem #42 on the diagnostic test saying that Zn is the limiting reactant but it's HCL! If they're present in the SAME amounts but HCL has a mole ratio of 2 while Zn is 1, it's HCL so the answer is 0.50g. I really dislike how erroneous this Prep book is but the topics it covers is very nice.

It is a great book if you want 800 score since it is harder than the real test and has every topics you need to prepare the test.

My son didn't use this book at all after I purchased it for him. He used Barron's Math 2 and none of the questions appeared on his Math 2 Subject Test. He's using Princeton Review instead for all his subject tests after receiving a bad score for math 2 by using Barron's (he's taking Calculus BC in his junior year and have finished Chemistry in 10th grade at community college). He said Barron's Chemistry and Math 2 books are way too hard, a lot of the questions he had no idea how to answer them and he didn't learn from his classes.

Very helpful, Helped me get perfect score on the chem exam. Practice tests are harder than the actual test, but very informative.
