HOT CHOCOLATE For the rich, decadent flavor of traditional Mexican hot chocolate, nothing does the job like our Handcrafted Hot Chocolate Jug. With a technique passed down from the Aztecs, the clay jug imparts a unique flavor to the chocolate.
VERSATILITY Coated in a lead-free glaze, the Jug can be used directly over the flame. Just add milk and chocolate, and whisk until frothy and delicious. Also ideal for heating soups, coffee, and tea. For a touch of authentic Mexican flair, try filling it with flowers for a unique vase!
BETTER WITH CARE The Hot Chocolate Jug gets better with time and care. It needs to be cured, but it’s worth it! To cure it, fill with cool water below its rim, bring the water to a boil on the stove, and allow it to simmer for about 5 minutes. Turn off the heat, and allow the water and pot to cool. Discard the water, and your clay pot is ready to use.
