Got the big pack since every kid in the house needed glue sticks. I know they work well because they came back home after the school year since they didn't use them. It does go on purple and dries clear which is nice for picture backing that way it doesn't get all over everything.

It bonds strong between paper to paper, photos to paper and in some cases fabric to fabric (ie, a quick temporary hemming job). Also, bonded items can be separated easily. For a permanent bond glue both surfaces separately then stick together.

These are perfect for little hands. My grandchildren love crafts but I hate having glue all over. These work great. The price was good too.
