Looking for a decent mouse from the roccat series, get the Roccat kova.
The Roccat KIRO Ambidextrous gaming mouse, seems to be good for its price, but it also has very many flaws, many people report that its weight feels shifted towards the back of the mouse. The mouse feels like there is 2 pounds in the back of the mouse when lifting, which makes the mouse feel awkward, and strange. This mouse has detachable sides which are great, if they're both off this seems to lighten the back of the mouse drastically , but not having a mouse4 and mouse5 button doesn't make this mouse feel what I'm paying for, though its tracking is better than the Roccat Lua despite having the same sensor; avago 3050 since it doesn't have negative mouse accel, though if you're looking for an actual decent mouse from the roccat series, get the Roccat kova though It's expensive you're able to get equal mice for less. For gaming in competitive FPS 4/10The only issue is the weight in the back throws off the tracking sometimes but can be fixed by lowering the Lift off Distance trackingFor gaming in Casual FPS 6/10Where it doesn't really matter if you aim for the head or the body. For MMOs & MOBAs 8/10Who really needs tracking in these games, LoL, Dota 2, World of Warcraft.

The mouse that should have been great.
This mouse is a really cool concept but to me its just kind of done wrong. It has good qualities but at the same time its not quite right.PROS:-Nice shape-Neutral color so RGB makes sense-Big mouse feet that glide really nicely-Most buttons feel greatCONS:-Its heavy-Scroll wheel is loud when going up-Both clicks feel sort of spongy-It is pretty small if that matters to youOTHER THOUGHTS:-I have a Roccat Kone Pure Military and its only a few ounces lighter, but the Kiro feels WAY heavier. The weight is really noticeable because its in the back. Most mice have weight spread evenly but all the weight is in the back and if you pick up the mouse a lot you'll notice it a lot more than other mice.-The soft touch top feels really nice. The sides are "non sweat grips" but if your hands sweat normally they're very slippery-The side buttons are really nice and out of the way on both sides. They're a lot less noticeable than other ambidextrous mice.I really love Roccat, but they kinda missed the mark with it. My copy of it has a loud scroll wheel going up but not down, which just sounds like quality issue. My left click is also more dense than the right and it makes a really bad noise and it feels really sluggish which isn't good for any game. They're not even close to my KPM in terms of feel.

comfortable for left-handed
Pretty cool mouse for a left-handed. Considering the lefty issue and i didnt what to spend a lot of money in a mouse, this resulted really cool.

Good basic gaming mouse
Good basic gaming mouse, has a great feel for us with large hands and thick fingers. Down side is the software installer sucks, won't complete the update process so I have no first hand knowledge of how good the software part of it is.

Heavy
Im a lefty so the market is a little smaller for side buttons no issues with them. Mouse is really heavy compared to the lua that i replaced. Side buttons are mapped to keyboard keys

I have not found one that is comfortable for my grip and has buttons on both sides
I have been looking for a replacement for my Logitech G3 Mouse for years. I have not found one that is comfortable for my grip and has buttons on both sides. I use this for PUBG and it has been outstanding. Great fluid movement and all buttons are programmable.

Small hands + Fingertip/Claw grip - This is your mouse! Pics
Fantastic mouse, perfect for both fingertip and claw grip. The side parts come off and on with ease but are held in with magnets so will absolutely not move during playing and are pretty easy to reach despite your grip. I have small hands and the mouse fits perfectly. I've taken pics of my hand on the mouse with an xbox controller for scale so you can get an idea of its size as this is what I was nervous about when purchasing. Luckily it was perfect so for all the female/small handed male gamers out there this is a fantastic mouse!. Also the side buttons do not get pressed when in fingertip grip, at least for me anyway since I grip with my thumb quite far down - also you can remove the side buttons if you do press them! The side buttons on the right are just about reachable with your little finger when in fingertip grip in case you wanted those extra buttons to use. All buttons on the mouse are super-satisfying and responsive to press. The scroll wheel click is especially nice, which I like since it's my push-to-talk button. The colour blending on the light is very smooth, it moves nicely and is quite heavy (which I like - its weight makes it feel nice and solid and it feels heavier and more solid than my partner's Naga Hex V2 which is far more expensive)It comes with software (which is also downloadable from the internet for free) in which you can customise the buttons, DPI, light, etc. which is really easy to use. Been using it for a good few weeks now for a good few hours (like 5-10) every day and the matte surface hasn't worn down except for where my first finger is where there is a tiny, barely noticeable lighter part but it probably just needs a good clean. Will update review if anything happens as I've had not-great experiences with a Roccat headset and a Rat5 mouse so holding my breath a little, but as of 3/10/2016 this mouse is just fine :D

Good quality. I'm left handed and if you are ...
Good quality. I'm left handed and if you are too then you know the struggle when it comes to getting the correct gear. This is very simplistic in design, responsive and nicely weighted. I was apprehensive at first when looking at how the device switches dominant side, but am happy to say it doesn't feel cheap or have that "rattle" to it that other devices may have. No tools required. It is wired which is nice but i guess that is pure personal preference vs battery power. All in all i'd say this is good value vs competition, easy to use software to rebind. The only thing i would have liked is for the mouse wheel button and DPI quick-switch buttons to be an active button you can bind (I may be wrong that they are not but as of yet i haven't been able to).

An amazing mouse, I just love it.
I've spent a good bit of time with this mouse now. I've gotten to know it and it is the best mouse I've ever owned. I'm both left and right handed, ambidextrous if you want to get technical but I favour my left hand and this mouse doesn't mind catering beautifully to both. The real star of the show are the modular pieces that just pop off with such a beautiful mechanism you'll just have to keep doing it for the fun of it. So depending on which hand you're using, you can just swap the buttons so they are on the left or right side or have them on both sides! This could be a godsend for a shared computer where there is a left and right handed person. The lighting is very slick but it's only the logo on the top that lights up, nothing else. I don't mind that, it's not something I'm looking for in a mouse. I just want it to feel good and perform. This performs. The software is perfectly usable and I had no issues with it. It looks good and it's got that classic design that older farts like me really appreciate having grown up on intelli mices. So its a great mouse for big hands and its weight beautifully so you can use a very light touch or really get down there and grab onto it. The wheel feels nice too.Haven't had a single issue with it since buying it. I'll be getting another one of these straight away if this fails as I really don't think you can improve on it. It's a real gem.

Great mouse, solid choice for the price.
I got this mouse bundled in when I purchased my ROCCAT Sova MK Mechanical Lapboard, UK Layout, Brown Switch .Have used more expensive mice in the past, I was pleasantly surprised by the Kiro. It's definitely got a more premium feel than most standard mice, and is easy to configure using the Swarm software Roccat provide. Whilst not the most polished software package, it gives a breadth of customisation options which you can essentially set and forget. The included grips feel great, and really do make this mouse a true ambidextrous option. Unfortunately these can come detached from the mouse a little too easily at times, but I haven't found this to be too great a problem. I'm not too fussed about RGB personally, but the illuminated part does give it a bit more visual appeal.DPI options give a suitable range for most games, and are easy to switch between. Build quality is solid, and I see no reason why this mouse shouldn't last a long time.In summary, this is a great little mouse worth its price tag. The fact I got it included as a bundle makes it doubly sweet. There are likely worthy competitors out there, but for the low-mid range gaming mouse it is, this one fits the bill nicely. Good mouse for a left handed user
Good mouse for a left handed user. The plastic body feels nice and sturdy, the modular construction works surprisingly well. The ergonomy could be done better however, the side buttons would work much better, if they were more on the side rather than on top and almost beside the main buttons, at least for me, your mileage may vary. The driver is also a serious downside as it doesn't really register the side buttons as extra mouse buttons, which is a frankly bizarre design choice. instead you have to assign keystroke functions to them, in order for your computer to recognise the input, essentially sacrificing 2 keys on the keyboard, to get them back on the mouse. To date this is the only mouse I had, which works this way.
