Very fresh. I was very satisfied. No problem with freshness at all. Getting ready to order another bag. Also very fast delivery. Can't go wrong.

Q: How long does a 24lb bag last? We have a 10month Mastiff puppy weighing 100lb and is fed six cups per day. Thank you!!!!

I'll say it's all relative... normally, dogs (or anyone) will eat LESS because it's high protein first of all. Also, as an FYI - you might want to be feeding BB Wilderness puppy food b/c it has an even higher amount of protein since puppies tend to expend so much more energy. Otherwise, I have 2 adult dogs - a 150lb wolf-hybrid & a 75lb Std Poodle... a 24lb bag for 2 big dogs usually lasts us just about a month/ 3 1/2- 4 weeks. Though I don't measure their dry food (I always leave a bowl accessible for whenever they want to eat), I do mix in a tablespoon or 2 of can food in 1x/ day at dinner time. There are days when they don't touch it at all (even w/ canned mixed in) & other days they may go through a bowl in 5 minutes - then I just refill w/ dry food. Don't know about your pup, but my boys won't gorge themselves when presented w/ any food (even the occasional hamburger may sit there) - and will only eat when they're actually hungry. I think their bowls filled to top hold about 32oz - whatever that translates to cups?
