Easy to create French Nail Tips
These little pieces of tape are just perfect for creating French Nail tips! All you have to do is put it on your nail where you want the bottom of the French tip to be painted, and just paint the upper portion of your nail. When you pull the tape off the nail is perfect, well most of the time! I found if you pull the tape off to re-position it more than once, and then put it back on, it might not stick as well and paint goes under the tape (see image). Overall, I would use this tape again, knowing that if you need to re-position the tape you might as well just stick a new piece of tape on.

More than one way to use
I use these differently than the intended purpose. My use is to file my nails for a very even look without the back and forth making my nails extremely short cause that OCD monster rides hard. I can choose how much I file off and keep the whole nail evenly paired.

Difficult to use...
I went thru about 5 of these before I got one to use. You have to peel them off of a piece of wax paper and they would either tear with the paper still stuck to the back or would tear because they weren't cut completely from the next one. The whole pack wasn't perforated from each other. I finally got 2 to test, but because their made of thin paper, once I painted my nail tip with polish, once the polish dried and I tried to pull the strip off, it tore apart and stuck to the polish. Waist of money.

Lifts and allows polish to bleed.
I don't understand how to get perfect adhesion to the nail, maybe you need to file it and then apply this sticker? because they lift way too much around the edges. I tried to get a clean French tip line, and the white polish bled under the tape. It helps a little bit, but I think this is something that definitely takes a lot of practice to get down.

A little skill required
Just too hard for me to get right. Quality product.

FINALLY LOVE MY NAILS!!
I can finally give myself a French manicure!! The first trick is to make certain the guides are smooth and tight! I keep smoothing them out before painting. I find the guides work best with the Sally Hansen French manicure pen as opposed to using a cream or white polish. The pen gives me more control and less "bleeding" under the guides. I ordered one pen on line and found them cheaper at CVS. Use the "pen" carefully and hold your hand down to prevent any color from leaking under the guides for a minute or two. Simple! I also do NOT use a "base coat" first on my nails. I simply apply the guides to clean nail, use the pen to apply the white color, wait a couple of minutes for the second pen coat to dry, and then go over the nail with two coats of "Shell We Dance" by Sally Hansen. Looks fabulous! You can use any clear, pink or nude polish over the white tips, but I've also read other reviewers using SWD by SH and loving it, too. The secret to keeping this manicure looking fresh for over one week (seriously, not a single chip - and as a piano teacher, I am hard on my nails!) is to wait until the last coat (Shell We Dance) is dry. Then go over the entire nail with one coat of Sally Hansen "Gel Coat #100 or #101". It's the stuff in the black bottle that SH sells for their Gel Coat polishes. You can pick it up at any Walgreens or CVS. Your classy manicure will last MORE than a week. I finally gave away all my "color" polishes which I hated on my hands. I also read a review that said the 78 count in the box was not accurate. I have ordered three boxes and all three have a 78 count in the box. Good Luck and have fun!!

These stick all right - so much they leave glue residue behind!
Frankly, this is on me - I should have known something so cheap would not easily replace a true french manicure. Overall, these are a great product in theory. I am pretty handy with a brush so felt confident these would work well for me. Unfortunately, they are not easily peeled off the label (which should have been my warning), but WORSE, they leave a sticky residue behind on your nails that is best removed with nail polish remover - which of course then will risk ruining the lovely tips you've just tried to do or any base coat you've applied already. Also the curvature looks like it will work well, but if you don't apply exactly evenly, they produce lopsided results. Lastly, they give you 12 per label which is a very odd number (I suppose 2 are extra for "mess ups" - IDK). Would not buy again nor recommend.

Simple to use and gets the job done
I’m far from being an expert at painting nails, but these worked for me! I put on a clear base coat first then let that dry — I think this helped create smoother lines, since the lines did not appear as crisp when I did not apply a base coat first. After the base coat dried I made sure to firmly press the stickers onto my nails (making sure that there were no gaps or bubbles for the polish to seep under). Then one by one painted the tips. After painting the each tip I would IMMEDIATELY remove the guide sticker. I learned that peeling the sticker immediately after applying the polish makes for the most crisp lines. I noticed that when I left the guide stickers on while the polish was drying, it would sometimes seep under the sticker making the lines look blotchy. I hope this helps!

Not worth the price. Didn't stick and was a big mess.

Je les ai utilisées pour un manucure français traditionnel. Les bandes ont bien adhéré a l'ongle et il n'y a pas eu de bavure. Très beau résultat au final.
