AIRHEAD Towable Tube for Boating

Very fun! I wanted to make sure we purchased something the kids could easily get back onto when they get thrown while riding. Not only did they have no problems steering, they also were held in quite well. Doesn't spill easily. Very sturdy. We were able to fit two kids for a ride easily. Only one adult is probably suitable. Great for kids... which is the reason for the purchase.

Have now had this tube for three years and absolutely love it. It’s easy to steer, comfortable to ride, and a little more extreme than some of the more traditional lay flat tubes. We have only ever had adult riders so it is definitely a ONE person only tube, but no complaints there. It is also a fantastic tube to just throw out into the water to lounge on!

This has been a great tube, only negative thing I can think of is the bottom of the tube has a zipper which if not properly inspected when the tube is blown up can unzip, has happened a few times, it's an easy fix, but requires deflating and re inflating the tube. Also it doesn't seem to be a problem if you check to make sure the zipper pull is folded down and locked prior to inflating, the pressure from the air in the tube holds the zipper in the locked position and it doesn't unzip. Rides great or so the kids tell me...they have learned to lean and cut with the tube, lots of fun....will hold two average sized adults, but more comfortable for one rider. Seems to be holding up well after 3 seasons of light to moderate use., no leaks but starting to see some fraying around the grab handles.

This is a really fun small inflatable. If you have ever knee-boarded its a simpler version of that. There are two fins are the back of the inflatable that allow you to steer the inflatable behind the boat. This is not the most stable inflatable so be prepared to fall out while your getting the hang of it. In terms of the number of riders, yes 2 adults could fit at a stretch but we personally think this is best for a single rider or one adult with a child/small teen. We've had this towable for 2 summers and it is held up really well with heavy usage. I do think part of what helps is that we make sure the towable is completely dry before storing it inside the garage.

Best tube out of my five or six we have now. Easy to get back on even for a 6yr old. And very stable. Likes to stay in the wake but easy enough to send it and the kids out wide for a fun ride. Handles me at 185lb and doing 57mph with hard turns just fine or a 5 and 6yr old slow and safe

This is not made for no 2 people it is made for one person I am 6'1 and bought this thinking it was alot bigger than it was it's big enough for just me but it's almost to small if you think this boat looks big think again it only fits the length of my legs and nothing else unless I'm on my knees, airhead needs to make this boat 2/3 longer and 1/2 wider then it would be an amazing boat I do got to say one thing is it's comfortable I can make it work even though it's not the biggest boat for someone who is 6'1 it is just a little small bit manageable I hope I could help the last thing is it's very durable and sturdy other than being too small it's an awesome boat I do recommend I gave it 3 stars do to the boat being small bit other than that I woul have given it 5 stars

My family really liked this tube initially. It’s easily steerable by the kids and easy to inflate / deflate with a pump. The issue is durability. Right after the warranty period was up, the tube started leaking from the one particular seam. Clearly this is a manufacturing defect, but airhead wouldn’t warranty their product. Since the leak develops on a seam, it’s nearly impossible to repair. The Tear Aid patches work best, but they don’t completely seal the leak due to the location on the seam. Took the boat out for the first time last weekend and guess what - another leak along the same seam. Looks like this is just another poorly made product that will end up in a landfill. I have another tube that was given to me that is probably 20 years old. Zero leaks.

We have several towables and this one was bought by my grandsons’ uncle. It was so much fun and I could just envision two people playing “bumper boats” with two of these being towed at the same time. So I had to buy a second one! Oh they had so much fun. I’d add video, but they are minors and I’m not comfortable with that. Suffice to say these are easily maneuverable and can be jumped and directed over the wake and waves. Made for a great ride. Highly recommend.

This product is totally worth the money. It performs as advertised and is very durable. Is ideal for little kids as well as larger adults. A great buy...you won't be disapoointed.
