Q: Hi, can we use one camera with the homebase and the other with the app in a totally different home?

The cameras themselves don't connect to the internet, they connect to the Homebase. It is the Homebase which is connected to the internet. To use each camera in a different home you would need another Homebase, which would make it two completely separate systems.

Q: Is it ready to install or do I have to recharge it first then install?

The cam normally has a factory charge, however cannot be sure it is charged to "Full". But you can check the charge level by connecting it up and installing the App on the phone. Then go inti settings of the Camera and it will show the level of charge in the Cam. Then you can decide what to do.

Q: Are the batteries rechargable? Can the be recharged with solar panels?

Yes on this model there is battery you can charge using the supplied usb cable. You can use same cable to connect to a solar panel if you wish for continuinous charging. The battery life depends on the amount of movement detection and settings but so far it is good. (6 months in low movement areas and may be 2-3 months for areas with high traffic)
