These are my husband’s third pair over the years and he loves them. Very durable, lightweight and they fit perfectly.

Light weight, quality construction with premium materials excellent protection from sunlight

Incredible... seriously, I'm not exaggerating. Best in the industry UV A/B/etc protection and polarization, and I can tell it as soon as I put it on. It gives my eyes immediate rest from harsh Californian sun. And Hawaiian sun too, when I'm on vacation. This is my second pair, and I can say that back 5+ years ago, they (MauiJim's) were a bit darker than current model. But it is OK for me, they still provide exceptional comfort for eyes. Nylon frames are very durable and will last couple years with no problem. This model is perfect for people with round, or oval faces, like mine, so, I highly recommend them. FYI: Once you had them for a week, or so - there is no way going back to other stuff!!!! You will not want to wear anything else, but MauiJim!!! Trust me :) This way I "hooked" my wife on this particular model. She got couple other brands, but after wearing (LightHouse) for several weeks, next time when it is time to put sunglasses on - she picks MauiJim without even thinking twice... subconsciously, I guess. :) For best experience..?

Kinda flimsy decent optical quality. Have oakley flack jacket sunglasses have slightly better optical quality. But very light weight and for being flimsy they hold up because the plastic allows bending.

I could never bring myself to spend this much money on a pair of sunglasses. Something I could easily lose. I found that when someone (girlfriend) talked me into splurging on a pair of Oakley glasses back in they day, I took extra special care of them to not lose or damage them. Fast forward a decade plus and I just happened across these and was astounded by how light they are and comfortable. At the time I was away for work and driving long distances frequently. I could wear these without any discomfort for hours. I made the mistake of taking them on a trip to Ireland and lost them on the very last night. So I bought a new pair right away. Those ones broke in half a year later and while I meant to send them back to Maui Jim for warranty/repair, I had trouble locating date of purchase (mall sunglass hut that closed). I opened a warranty ticket, but a death in the family, sorry I shouldn't mention that, caused me to simply forget about them and then I needed a new pair sooner than later, so I bit the bullet and bought another pair. I still have the broken ones sitting in a return box a year plus later. These sunglasses are worth that much that I'm not even too upset about the pair that busted in half less than a year into ownership.

Superb build quality. If you aren't familiar with the brand these sunglasses are perfect for casual or sporting purposes and extremely light with parts of the frame being rubberized in the perfect spot so they never fall off (of my big head at least). As an added bonus you get a cool Hawaiian looking soft case and a very high quality chocolate colored hard case with the MJ logo.

Very happy with the fit and comfort of these glasses. They don't put weight on my ears or cause headaches. They're so light I barely notice them on. These are great hiking/sport glasses - I would recommend a second pair in a lighter lens color for cloudy days.

Wie Immer bin ich sehr begeistert von meiner neuen Maui Jim. Ich würde mir keine andere Sonnenbrille mehr kaufen. Die Lieferung kam innerhalb von 4 Werktagen gut und sicher verpackt an. Die Brille selber ist über jeden Zweifel erhaben. Meine erste Maui Jim (RIP) ,eine Banzai, ist leider von meiner Tochter terminiert worden... :( Da es dieses Model nicht mehr gibt, bin ich auf die fast identisch aussehende Lighthouse gekommen... Mit gerade mal 13 Gramm wiegt die Brille fast nix! Sie drückt nicht und man merkt auch nach längerem Tragen keine Druckstellen. Das Gestell hält überraschend viel aus (besteht aus Nylon). Auf die Bierbank setzen mit Brille in der Gesäßtasche machen nicht viele Brillen mit! Sollte man ja auch nicht mehrfach machen. ;) Die (Plastik) Gläser sind aber der Hit! Keine Spiegelungen, eine hervorragende Tönung die bei hellstem Sonnenschein bis in die späte Dämmerung funktioniert. Super! Durch die Polarisierung (scheint eine besondere Art der Polarisierung zu sein, denn andere Polarisierte Gläser bringen diese Leistung nicht) werden Reflexionen von Wasser und Scheiben anderer Fahrzeuge sehr gut eliminiert. Sogar durch eine dreckige Frontscheibe kann man besser schauen, die Reflexionen im Schmier werden stark eliminiert! Auch nach mehreren Stunden Fahrt im Auto brennen die Augen nicht, dies war aber bei Qualitativ schlechteren Brillen schon der Fall. Mit 145€ (Stand 07.2018) ist diese Brille bestimmt nicht billig! Aber auf jeden Fall meiner Meinung nach jeden Euro wert. Ich kenne keine bessere. Gerade beim Auto fahren möchte ich nicht mehr auf sie verzichten. Und 10€ Brillen kommen mir nicht mehr auf die Nase.

C'est ma deuxième paire. Extra légère. Ma première depuis 5 ans, elle commence juste à se rayer un peu à force de la nettoyer. Maui Jim, ce sont les meilleurs verres polarisant du marché pour lunettes de soleil !

Cette marque propose des produits d'une qualité vraiment exceptionnelle. Les verres polarisés sont top, la monture est très légère. Ce modèle était destiné à un homme. Nous sommes une famille d'inconditionnels de Maui Jim, notamment pour les lunettes de soleil de ski !

Les lunettes sont très légères et passe-partout. Parfaites pour bien se protéger du soleil de façon agréable. C'est une bonne marque.
