Well built, easy operation, large enough for a dominate male cat, racoon, etc.
Well built, heavy finish coat should last, simple trip is easy to set, release door is a plus. Larger than expected.. which is good. I cut a piece of cardboard 8 1/2"X18" from the shipping box, to cover the wire floor leading up to the bait. I susspect animals don't like walking on the 1" mesh wire. Usually have to replace it each catch or so.. cats will try to dig out, destroying it, especially if wet. Cardboard is free :)

Successful Cat Trap!
Our cat went missing for 6 weeks and after failing to trap him in larger cages, we managed to catch him in this trap (and he is now safe, warm, and well-fed at home). We also caught and released small raccoons, opossums, and feral cats in the process of catching our missing cat. There was one instance where the trap didn't set off when an opossum went inside, but we think it was an error on our end. The newspaper we used to line the cage may have been too thick and prevented the floating platform from triggering. The only problem I have with this cage is your fingers need to get close to the door and angry animals may try to scratch or bite you in the process of opening the door.

LOVE THIS HUMANE TRAP!!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This trap WORKS!! We have had an invasion of raccoons, and we were successful in trapping from day one! We had borrowed other types of traps and were unsuccessful. Love this trap because it is simple and easy to release the animal. It is STRONG and we safely transport the trapped coon in our hatchback. So far ten coons trapped and transported in a two week period. PS we use suet and marshmallows as bait as we don’t want to trap our cats.

You get what you pay for!!
I keep 3 to 4 traps around our property year round mostly to keep the racoons from getting our chickens. Prior traps I have cost half as much but they are half as thick / sturdy. I large male coon can destroy a cheap trap once their caught in it. So, instead of replacing cheap traps every other year I'm buying these from now on.

good durable trap
This is the trap recommended in my feral cat group. It is durable and works well. IF I buy a second one I will get the "fat cat" version of the same trap because sometimes the cat has to stay in the trap for a few hours before the vet appointment and the fat cat one does have more room. I have not needed to trap tiny kittens yet so can't comment on very light weight animals.

Please spay and neuter
This was my second purchase if this trap. I love it for trapping feral cats for our TNR program. Its whisper quiet when the door goes down, which is a big plus and a door on each end is a huge bonus

Perfect Trap for Indoor Use for Cats
Perfect solution for my needs. I took in four feral kittens and could not touch two of them for months to get them to the vet for spay/neuter. Worked for six month old cats. Nice coating over the wire, easy to set, nice and sturdy.

Well made.
Easy to set. I like this trap better than the spring loaded type.
