What an Amazingly Pleasant Surprise! SWEET Pliers!
At <$10, I'll admit I wasn't expecting too much from these Goldblatt pliers. I mean, let's be honest here. No name recognition, less than a box of screws, etc. If you're honest with yourself, things like low price from a company you've never heard of has probably stopped you from buying a lot of stuff. I only bought these because a) a similar tool I was using at work broke in between paychecks and b) I didn't have the disposable cash to buy the Klein linesman/stripper I wanted. So I ended up with these. I figured I'll use them for a week and then they'll go into the backup tool bag in the truck. Well after using these for about 50 hours at work, I've gotta say that I don't really need the Kleins anymore (although I'll still buy them anyway lol)!So what are the pros and cons here?Pros: cost, obviouslyNice, tacky gripTolerances seem goodNo flexing when applying pressureStrippers work greatAnd after reaming and deburring what seems like a hundred miles of 3/4" EMT, the reamer works like a charm inside the pipe and they work like they were designed by Enzo Ferrari himself for knocking the bur off of 3/4" & 1" conduit.Cons: not much, really.A beveled edge *might* have made deburring a little smootherAND, the one thing I'm really not a fan of,The spring that keeps them open/easier to work with makes keeping them in your pocket/hip pouch kind of a pain. Something to lock the pliers closed would have been awesome, but for $9 I wouldn't dream of complaining about that. I just pulled the spring out."Con-orable" mention. These pliers drop open. Some people complain if their pliers DON'T drop open. But what they somehow fail to understand is that a $45 set of Kleins is meant to be used for a career, and so tight tolerances at the pivot point mean that they may not drop open until you've used them a fair bit. The fact that these drop open out of the box MAY mean that they'll become too loose over time. It may also mean that they're just sweet pliers. Who knows? $9. I'm happy as a clam.I prefer using Klein tools, some Miluakee, and Wera drivers. But money is not always abundant. These aren't Kleins. They aren't made in America. But it's a darn nice pair of pliers, and after using them more in a week than many may use them in a year, I can say they feel and function like a quality set, EASILY in the range of brands like Channies, Craftsman, Stanley, or Kobalt, at about a third of the cost. I'll be trying other Goldblatt tools in the future!

A bit to large
I wanted to put this in my tool pouch, it's not a bad tool but it's a bit to large for what I want it for.

Mult function tool.
They are nice for a multi tool function . The only bad part is the stripers are recessed in the tool and exact termination length difficult and don't strip like flat ones do. It is nice to put in your pocket with a 10 way screw driver and have most everything you need to multi function on the job but I will still use regular strippers to terminate lots of wires

Nice tool for the price paid
I ordered the Goldblatt brand after looking at more expensive multi use electrical pliers in the big box home improvement stores. I typically buy the made in USA brands but seems some of those brands tools are not made in the USA ... why pay the higher price to get the same quality. As for quality I don't see any issues with this pair of pliers and think that they will perform as intended for many years.

great-n-handy tool/pliers
These pliers seem 2 b well built. This brand know 4 their concrete tools is making a lot of other tools /gadgets and other stuff. I like the LONG NOSE mind u LONG NOSE tip (not needle nose cause the package says LONG NOSE), the slip joint type jaws that follows, then the wire strippers and 2 complete the tool the bolt shears 4 the 6-32 and 8-32 electricians screws. These pliers r solid and will do the job or task at hand. They compare 2 the south wire klien, knipex (pronounced like knife) not canipex milwuakee LONE NOSE(!!!!!) WITH STRIPPERS AND BOLT SHEARS.

Versitile and Heavy Duty
I've used these pliers for a variety of tasks since getting them, from long nose pliers to lineman pliers to stripping wire. They are heavy duty and seem well made. The spring that keeps the handles in an OPEN position frustrates me at times, especially when storing the pliers. It's different than what I am used to. Not saying good or bad, just different.

Long nose multi tool.I have tried the new tool on 14 awg wire & it cuts & strips just fine. Tool tips align but the casting is slightly uneven. Cut stranded wire as well The bolt cutter feature works great. The only risk is how long the cutter blades will stay sharp.Since this is a spring opening tool, it would have been great to have a lock to hold it closed. It is a PITA to store or carry when it is constantly wanting to spring open. Also very disappointed that another traditional firm like Goldblatt sold out to a Chinese company. For the amount I will use this, I didn't want to tie up $40 on a Knipex or Klein...regrets. Buy American, keep your dollars here.

Impressive. As a professional electrician I have used many name brand tools and found this to be just as high a quality item as similar tools costing twice as much. Many co-workers have borrowed the Goldblatt pliers and also appreciated them. I was surprised how well they strip wire. After a month of very heavy use the strippers haven't dulled at all. I now only carry a pair of diagonal cutters and this multi plier set in my pouch, nothing else is needed for the majority of electrical projects. I look forward to trying their other electrical tools!
