Don't panic...heres what you got to do!
It seems to help quite a bit in fighting these evil blood sucking beasties from hell! It can't do all the work by itself because these things are ridiculously hard to murder but it really does help control and kill a large portion of them. Remember that it takes a few days to for the powder to work. It is not instantaneous. It is a great tool to use for longterm control while using a more immediate method of extermination. I used this brand of powder and Cimexa(which is very similar). I sprayed first around the edges of my baseboards both on top and bottom with Temprid fx (with Gentrol added in.Gentrol is suppose to help cut down the bed bug population by making it so their young can't reproduce, however its doubtful you will be able to get every BB so thats why you need to apply more than once) I also sprayed ceiling corners . The spraying has to be repeated more than once because of the life cycle because nothing will truly 100% kill all the eggs, but it really works. If you keep repeating every week then you can kill all the adults and nymphs and there will be no more eggs laid. I am about to do my 3rd treatment of the house even though I haven't seen any alive or haven't seen evidence of any bites just to make sure. I will probably do this for awhile so I have peace of mind that the b@st@rds are gone and then transition to once a month...then every 6 wks and so on. Also a quality steamer like the SKG steam mop helped me sooo much in the fight against these things! I went along the edges of my place more than once with an attachment before spraying with the pesticide! It has to be a real hot steamer that gets over 140° because that can kill the bugs and the eggs.A regular clothes steamer WON'T do the trick. The SKG one I have gets to 212° ! It was very satisfying to get them in their hideouts. So remember :1.If you can, steam! 2.Spray a good insecticide, not crap from walmart or home depot. It doesn't work...trust me :( RESEARCH! 3.Wait for insecticide to dry and then apply this powder for extra knockout power and long lasting control. Washing your bedding and clothes and drying them 20 mins past when they are dry (on the hottest setting your dryer gets) and keeping them in plastic bags or weather proof totes will help you as well! Its a real process and hardwork to get rid of them but if you can do these steps I think you will be all right! Good luck!

My daughter stayed at a friend's and came home with a crap ton of bites. I'm not sure if she brought anything home but I am treating just in case! My uncle recommended harris brand. Also, ordered a steamer as well he manages hotel. Please pray my daughter didn't bring any bugs home and that I totally washed my money. I really REALLY don't want bed bugs! Also. Make sure yall are switching active ingredients for pesticides as all insects will become immune to the same pesticide being used over and over. I got this powder since my house is old with lots of cracks. Please pray we don't my daughter didn't bring any bed bugs home.

Unlikely to work.
I am 74 with a compromised immune system from chemotherapy. The exterminator told me I could spot check with sprays and aerosols, but not with this powder. The fine dust could be dangerous for me.A telling quote from another Amazon.com review for another beg bug product: "I just talked to an entomologist (PhD bug specialist). I'm not happy. She said that NOTHING that we can buy on the retail market will work on bedbugs."HOWEVER I found a scientific study, Efficacy of Selected Insecticide Sprays and Aerosols against the Common Bed Bug, ... " Department of Entomology, Rutgers University (Google it!). Eight products were reviewed and seven were less than 70% effective. Only one did better, Transport GHD, at 89.7%. The downside is that is is expensive and you have to buy a pump sprayer unit to use it.Also promising is the product Nuvan Pro Strips for fumigation of items you seal in plastic bags for two weeks, say infested electronics or books. Delicate items such as a cashmere sweater you would put in a closet, hang up a Nuvan strip, and tape the closet door shut for two weeks.Lastly, and what really does work 100% is steam cleaning at 65 psi. That is not a household machine for a couple of hundred dollars but a commercial steamer for $800 to $1,000 and up. However I did find what appears to be a very attractive alternative, a nicely designed 65 psi machine for $429, the Vapor Clean II. Of course you have to be careful using it, or you will not just kill the bed bugs but your furniture and carpets too.Hope this helps.
