Good product - BUT you must know how to use a stud finder!!
I've had no problem using and finding studs, metal and electric cables; BUT like all stud finders YOU MUST read the instructions (don't make assumptions). Most stud finders will give accurate readings all you have to do is take your time and learn to interpret the information. 1) calibrate the wall, only use one hand on the scanner. 2) keep your other hand away from the scanner and the wall! 3) move slowly and keep the scanner in the same vertical as you move across the wall. You will be surprised how good you get! Before you blame the scanner, blame the operator.
