Akro-Mils 30210 AkroBins Plastic Storage Bins, Space-Saving Stackable Bins for Garage, Pantry, Craft Organization, 5" x 4" x 3", Stone, 24-Pack

These Akro-Mils 30210 Plastic Storage Bins storage bins are the best quality I have found. They do not crack or warp, and they stack well. They are great for holding screws, nails and any types of small parts. These bins are a good size too. I have Akro-Mils bins in a variety of sizes. (I do wish they made bins even smaller than these, but I think these are the smallest available.) Here's how I rate them on each criteria: Build quality: 5 stars Functionality: 5 stars Size: 5 stars Organization functionality: : 5 stars Storage capacity: 5 stars Stackability: 5 stars Looks: 4 stars (no complaints -- but they are just utilitarian) Value for money: I have not found any better value from any competitors. And I just wait for a sale before buying more of these.

These are very sturdy and handy bins to help organize anything small or even larger with larger size bins. The price on these can be quite steep at times but it fluctuates often. If color isn't an issue, watch all the different colors as the price varies with this as well. I have also bought a couple cases from the "Used, like new" category and used the large discount associated with it. The "Used" cases of 24 arrived in exactly the same condition that the new cases of 24 arrived in, couldn't tell the difference. These bins also allow for a larger tag on the front of the bin (1"x3"). I was able to cut different bolt & screw sizes into steel tags to help organize my bolt/screw assortment and get them out of boxes sitting in shelving around the garage. These are also handy in my reloading room to help keep things organized down there. I have since bought some slightly larger bins by the case and will keep a lookout for even larger sizes to drop in price. Mounting these I used the pictured Rubbermaid single track shelf brackets (from HD or Lowes) turned upside down and mounted to 3/4" x 2" pieces of wood that I ripped from pressure treated fence pickets that I had sitting around the basement. I just squared these up and spaced them equally to allow access to the bins above and below each row. Works great and costs much less than the advertised brackets that they sell.

These are really nice however the mounting system is way too expensive. So be careful as I bought this item thinking it came with its own mounting system. However having said that you can make your own. I bought a piece of aluminum quarter angle mounted it to a board with a few screws and voila.
