There are times when a spacer is needed.
There are times when a cassette doesn't fit tightly on a hub, eg. HG cassette on an HG+ hub. You will need a spacer. These come in multiple thicknesses in addition to the standard 1.6mm spacers.

Exactly as advertised. A must have for any bike tool set. Nice assortment and color choice. With so many different hub widths and 10-11-12 speed options , these are nice for minor adjustments.

Get it if your bike cassette is lose.
I changed my rim and the cassette but never thought of a spacer, changing gears was a pain and I didn’t understand why the cassette was always so lose, then I found this, problem solved.

Much needed
Had a 7sp freewheel on 8sp hub so the spacers saved it

too large for small cogs. the chain hits the spacers on 12t cogs
just needed to be a lottle bit smaller to accomadate the chain on a 12t cassette cog

Only needed 1 but it did the job
Converting from a cassette system to a freewheel, but the freewheel fit right up against the wheel so not so free. Had no idea how much I would space I would need to add to stop that from happening so bought this pack. Only needed 1 2mm ring so the rest of the pack is wasted but it did the job and the bike now works. Plus I have spares if I ever have any issues.

Perfekt für Shimano Freilaufkörper
Habe einen 7er Ritzel von Shimano auf einen 8er Freilaufkörper von Shimano montiert. Ich brauchte nur den 2,5mm Ring, habe jetzt natürlich noch einiges übrig. Passt perfekt und tut was es soll. Mein Problem ist damit gelöst.
